We're based at the Beachouse Resort in Korolevu, on Fiji's Coral Coast. It's on the main island of Viti Levu, roughly 2.5 hours from Nadi International Airport along the Queens Highway.

Just get in touch — you can email us at info@basefiji.com, message us on Facebook or Instagram, or come and see us at the Beachouse. We're pretty flexible and can usually organise something within a day or two, depending on conditions and availability.

For most activities, no experience is needed. Snorkeling trips suit anyone who can swim, island trips are for everyone, and the river kayaking uses stable inflatable kayaks. The one exception is surfing — our surf charters are for people who already know how to surf, as we take you to reef breaks by boat. We'll always match the trip to your ability.

Sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a towel are the basics. For water activities, wear something you're happy to get wet in. We provide all the specialist gear — snorkels, boards, kayaks, fishing tackle, life jackets, the lot. A camera or GoPro is a good idea too.

Yes, most activities are family-friendly. Snorkeling and island trips suit kids of all ages (as long as younger ones can swim or are comfortable in the water). River kayaking is recommended from age 10. Surf charters are for experienced surfers only. We always have safety gear and our guides keep a close eye on everyone.

Safety comes first. If conditions aren't suitable, we'll let you know and either reschedule or suggest an alternative activity. Our crew reads the weather and ocean conditions every day — we won't take you out if it's not safe or if you won't enjoy it.

Pricing varies depending on the activity, duration, and group size. We prefer to chat with you first so we can tailor something to what you're after. Get in touch and we'll give you a straightforward quote — no hidden fees.

Absolutely — that's what we do best. Want to combine fishing with an island trip? Snorkeling followed by a beach picnic? A full day hitting multiple spots? Just tell us what you're thinking and we'll make it happen.

We're based at the Beachouse, so most trips depart from there. If you're staying nearby on the Coral Coast, we can usually sort out arrangements. Drop us a message and we'll figure something out.

Yes. BASE FIJI is fully licensed through the Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji (MSAF). All crew hold current first aid and CPR certifications, and we carry comprehensive insurance. Safety gear is provided on every single trip.

Fiji is good year-round, but the dry season (May to October) tends to have the most consistent weather. Surfing can be great through the southern hemisphere winter months. Fishing and snorkeling are solid all year. We operate every day, 7am to 6pm, regardless of season.

We're pretty easygoing about this. If your plans change, just let us know as soon as you can and we'll work something out. We understand that holidays don't always go to plan.
