River Kayaking

The Navua River is a place of wild landscapes, cool fresh air, and jungle that is very much alive. The river never rests — it rejuvenates. And so will you.

This full-day adventure starts with a custom 4WD bus ride into the highlands, where the river begins its journey through towering volcanic gorges — black rock walls at points barely five metres apart and over forty metres high, fringed by dense emerald rainforest.

You'll paddle 27 kilometres downstream through Class I–II rapids, past hidden waterfalls, and through some of the most untouched wilderness in Fiji. Our guides grew up on this river — they know every bend, every eddy, and every spot where the light hits the water just right.

No experience necessary. We use stable inflatable kayaks, and the guides are with you every stroke of the way. A moderate level of fitness is recommended, but the river does most of the work.
